Radio DJ Scott Mills first landed a gig on BBC Radio 1 back in 1998, where he presented the early breakfast show from 4 am to 7 am. Since then, the 50 year old has risen through the ranks to host some of the biggest shows on the BBC.
From the Official Chart on Radio 1 to taking the leap over to Radio 2 to replace the legendary late Steve Wright, Scott has also been the voice of his own show, which aired from 2004 to 2022. But away from the airwaves, where he's become such a staple and familiar presence, what else do we know about Scott Mills' personal life? Is Scott in a relationship? Scott has been happily loved up with his boyfriend, Sam Vaughan, since 2016, after first meeting him at a radio event in Wales.
In the early days, the pair reportedly endured a long distance relationship, with them both commuting back and forth from London and Wales, respectively.
Then, four years later in 2021, it was announced that the couple were engaged. Scott shared the exciting news with his fans on X, formerly known as Twitter at the time, and said: "After 4 years together I'm delighted to say we got engaged at the weekend." During Scott's announcement, he explained that he never thought he would get married until he met Sam.
Adding that he makes him "laugh every single day," Scott also gushed that Sam supports him "in so many ways." "I adore everything about you," Scott continued, before concluding: "As soon as I met you I knew this could be something special and it is (after a slow start). We've had some amazing times, and I'm bursting with happiness to know we will have so many more.
