Grace Dent has been spotted for the first time since her shock exit from I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! which saw her removed by bosses after concerns from viewers. News that the food critic had quit the jungle emerged on Monday, 27 November after a statement was issued by ITV bosses.
A spokesperson said: "Unfortunately Grace Dent has left the show on medical grounds. She has been a great campmate and will be missed by her fellow celebrities and viewers alike." Just hours after the announcement, Grace was spotted leaving Australia as she checked into her flight home at Brisbane Airport.
The 50 year old looked tired and her clothes looked noticeably looser than when she arrived. Grace checked in for the 23:25 Singapore Airlines flight to Singapore for the first leg of her journey and was accompanied by security.
She was then taken through a VIP entrance to departures rarely used by celebs. According to sources Grace refused to talk to any press at the airport and kept her head down as she rushed through the terminal. A show source said: "She is feeling like s**t and just wants to get on the plane and sleep." According to an insider, Grace's exit from the jungle was "mutually agreed" between herself and ITV bosses after they were forced to intervene.
