Fatima Whitbread is bravely heading back into the jungle tonight for the hugely anticipated I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! All Stars spin off.The former Olympic javelin thrower, 62, has revealed that she’s nervous about taking on another round of grueling bushtucker trials - and is still haunted by one in particular from her original series. “It feels like it’s wriggling about,” she told medic Bob. Fatima was eventually able to remove one creature, only to realise that another was still wedged inside! Luckily, the medical team were on hand to help and, with a syringe of water, were able to safely remove the creature - which Fatima then proudly held out for the cameras.
“Bit off-putting though, isn’t it?” the star joked to hosts Ant and Dec in a chat after the trial. Although most fans will have assumed that Fatima would have wanted to put the whole nasty experience behind her, the ex javelin thrower revealed years later that she had kept the insect as a souvenir! In a special episode in 2020, I’m A Celebrity… A Jungle Story, Fatima explained that the cockroach
