Hundreds of thousands of music lovers have descended on Somerset's Worthy Farm this year as Glastonbury Festival returns for its 51st year.
The likes of Elton John, Arctic Monkeys, Guns N Roses, Lana Del Rey, Lizzo and Blondie are among the acts taking to the festival's famous stages over the weekend with thousands of artists joining them on the bill.
Glastonbury is the UK's largest music festival and sees more than 200,000 people attend each year. Despite its size, tickets are notoriously hard to get hold of and sell out in mere minutes each year, with hopeful attendees having to pre-register before purchasing their tickets in a bid to crack down on touts.

Back in 1979, in the very early years of the festival, tickets cost a fiver - and the headliners included Peter Gabriel and Tim Blake. But the price of Glastonbury tickets has been rising over the years and it now stands at nearly £350 for the whole weekend.
In 2022, when the festival was held back for two years due to the pandemic, Glastonbury-goers paid £285 in total - which was £15 more than the original 2020 date was due to cost.
Tickets this year set festival-goers back a total of £340 - that's £55 more than the year before.
Addressing the steep rise in ticket prices back in October last year, festival organiser Emily Eavis said: “We have tried very hard to minimise the increase in price on the ticket but we’re facing enormous rises in the costs of running this vast show, whilst still recovering from the huge financial impact of two years without a festival because of Covid."
