Newly released security footage appears to support some of the claims of physical abuse that Cassie Ventura accused Sean “Diddy” Combs of in a since-settled lawsuit.
If you forgot, in late 2023 the 37-year-old “Me & U” singer accused her former partner of rape and abuse in a lawsuit.
They settled the case outside of court one day after the lawsuit was filed. However, Diddy‘s legal team maintained that the settlement was not an “admission of wrongdoing” on his part.
On Friday (May 17), security footage from a Los Angeles hotel surfaced and appears to corroborate an incident of abuse that Cassie described in the filing.

The footage was obtained by CNN and appears to be from the InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles. The hotel is no longer open. The footage is dating March 5, 2016.
In the clip, which features footage from multiple cameras, Didy can be seen running down a hall in the hotel, chasing after Cassie. He appears to grab her and throw her to the floor before kicking her.
Diddy then grabs Cassie and drags her across the floor. He seemingly returns to a hotel room before coming out and seemingly shoving the singer again.
In her lawsuit, Cassie referenced a “freak off” that occurred at a Los Angeles hotel in 2016. She alleged that Diddy was drunk and said that he punched her in the face, leaving her with a black eye.
Diddy reportedly paid $50,000 to obtain the security footage, according to the lawsuit.
