Hot Chip has joined forces with the team behind hit children’s animated series Hey Duggee for a new ‘Summer Fun Mix’.The Mercury Music Prize & Grammy-nominated musician teamed up with the hit preschool brand to curate a collection of remixed tracks – each taken from the original series and given a refreshing electro-pop spin.The ‘Hey Duggee: Summer Fun Mix’ spans 30 minutes and was released today on the brand’s official YouTube channel.Songs remixed for the project include ‘The Welcome Badge’, a catchy original track which is designed to help Ukrainian refugee families feel at home in the UK, as well as more original songs including ‘Getting Ready’, ‘Duggee On The Dancefloor’, ‘The Feelings Song’ and ‘Hey Duggee Birthday’.The collaboration stemmed from an A Capella Badge episode of Hey Duggee – which saw the creators of the series pay tribute to the band with an animated quartet of birds called Hot Cheep.“I had a lot of fun stepping into the Hey Duggee universe for this mix and I’m looking forward to working more with the guys in Hot Cheep too,” Martin said of the new partnership.Simon Clarke, Head of Digital Content, Kids & Family at BBC Studios Social agreed, adding: “Following on from the hugely positive reaction to the A Capella Badge episode from Hot Chip and Hey Duggee fans, commissioning Felix to remix original Duggee songs into a Summer Party compilation felt like a natural next step.“We’re really pleased with his creation and think it’ll be the soundtrack to many family get-togethers and kids’ parties this summer!”This is far from the first time that the animated children’s series – which has been the most streamed CBeebies show on BBC iPlayer for three consecutive years – has teamed up with a famous face.

Thania Garcia After selling out its reunion “Soy Rebelde Tour,” Latin pop group RBD has dropped a new single titled “Cerquita De Ti.” The track, a blend of pop and Dominican dembow, is the first taste of original music from the band since 2020’s “S.H.E.A.,” which was updated in February to include vocals from Dulce María. It’s just the second taste of original music since the band — which also comprises telenovela actors and singers Anahí, Christian Chávez, Christopher von Uckermann and Maite Perroni — went on its official hiatus in 2009. “Cerquita De Ti” boasts RBD’s signature harmonies and elements of modern-day Latin pop.

FX’s “Reservation Dogs” and AMC’s “Dark Winds” have a few things in common — starting, of course, with Zahn McClarnon, who stars as Navajo tribal police officer Joe Leaphorn in “Dark Winds” and recurs as Officer Big in “Reservation Dogs.” And both also share acclaim from viewers and critics: “Reservation Dogs” sports a 99% positive rating on Rotten Tomatoes’ reviews aggregator, while “Dark Winds” boasts a remarkable 100% ranking.

Bob Dylan, and takes direct inspiration from his iconic track ‘Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door’.The single was recorded at Drop of Sun Studios in Asheville, North Carolina, and sees the indie guitarist put his own unique spin on the 1973 classic – replacing the stripped-back structure with his distinctive vocal tone and a collection of reverb-drenched guitars.“I was spending a lot of time watching John Daly videos and came across a rendition he does of Dylan’s ‘Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door’,” said Lenderman, discussing the reasons behind his reimagining of the song.“Daly’s version includes an extra verse about golfing. Semisonic have announced their first album in 22 years ‘Little Bit Of Sun’ and shared new single ‘The Rope’.The Minneapolis band, famed for their huge 1998 single ‘Closing Time’ as well as ‘Secret Smile’, formed in 1995 and released three albums before they split in 2001. They reunited 16 years later to play a series of shows to mark the 20th anniversary of their debut album ‘Great Divide’ and released a new EP ‘You’re Not Alone’ in 2020.Now, the band will release their new LP, which includes Jason Isbell and My Morning Jacket‘s Jim James, through Pleasuresonic Recordings on November 3.The trio – Dan Wilson, John Munson and Jacob Slichter – have also shared the video for the first taster from the record, which you can watch below.Wilson previously opened up about how Liam Gallagher indirectly inspired the band to reunite to release new music.“I had this great meeting with Liam,” he said at the time.
