Holly Willoughby was left in floods of tears following her decision to quit This Morning.
The 42-year-old had tried to ride out the storm she faced from 'Queuegate' last year, when she and co-host Phillip Schofield were accused of skipping the queue to see the late Queen lying in state following her death.
Holly was dealt another blow when Phillip, 61, resigned from This Morning and later admitted to an affair with a younger male colleague leaving the ITV show embroiled in another scandal. Holly was forced to defend herself against calls for her to be sacked in the wake of Phillip's affair confession, despite insisting she knew nothing about it.
Following the tumultuous events, Holly decided to quit This Morning and focus on her family. An insider claims that this wasn't an easy decision for Holly, and was left in floods of tears despite knowing it was the right thing for her.
