Holly Willoughby has spoken out on social media for the first time since announcing her This Morning exit almost three months ago to the day. The presenter returned to her Instagram page on Friday (January 12), marking her first post since sharing her exit statement on October 10.
Confirming her departure from the ITV daytime show, Holly, 42, said it had been an 'honour to just be part of its story', but said it was a call she had to make for herself and her family. In the Instagram post, she wrote: "I have let ITV know today that after 14 years, I will not be returning to This Morning. "This is such a difficult goodbye, you are incredible and I forever will be proud of what we've done together. Thank you to everyone at ITV for being supportive. To every guest who has sat on our sofa, thank you. Most of all, thank you to the wonderful viewers. You've been so loyal, so supportive and the very best company every day."

I will miss you all so much. Holly."
