White Noise, starring Adam and Greta Gerwig and directed by Noah Baumbach, opened the annual festival, with celebs showing out in force on the red carpet. Adam suited up in a tuxedo, while co-star Greta stunned in a beautiful black gown.
She held husband Noah’s hand as the pair of them posed for the cameras on the red carpet to celebrate the film. Also making a rare appearance on the red carpet was politician Clinton. She looked over the moon as she posed in a light blue number, with her hands outstretched as she took in the film festival.
Tessa Thompson looked sensational as she took to the red carpet in a stylish gown, while Jodie Turner-Smith also stunned in a trailing black number. Pixie Lott was also among the stars posing on the red carpet, along with her husband Oliver Cheshire. White Noise is an apocalyptic black comedy adapted from the novel by Don DeLillo, and is the first Netflix-backed film to open the festival.
