Here's Why 'Live! with Kelly & Mark' Has Had 2 Pre-Recorded Episodes Since April 17

Mark Consuelos‘ second week at the hosts’ desk was another triumph.

Mark Consuelos got his wife, Kelly Ripa, to cry from laughter on air — and for the most hilarious reason.The Riverdale alum, 52, showed off footage of his recent trip to Campobasso, Italy, on the Tuesday, May 9, episode of Live With Kelly and Mark. While taking a tour of the soccer stadium Stadio Nuovo Romagnoli, Consuelos injured his leg while shooting goals on the field. In footage of his treatment from a physiotherapist, the actor’s crotch was pixelated, leaving Ripa wiping her eyes with a tissue.

Ryan Seacrest has been the host of  since its inception in 2002 — for a total of 21 seasons, and counting! — but there a time when he was actually considered to be a judge alongside Simon Cowell.During an appearance on her eponymous talk show, Kelly Clarkson brought up a fun fact about Seacrest and the singing competition show, telling the 48-year-old TV host that she found out he was originally almost going to be a judge. Seacrest confirmed the nugget and then explained how he became the host.«Yeah, originally when the producers — Nigel [Lythgoe] and Ken [Warwick] — were setting up the show, they had heard me on the radio here in Los Angeles and they thought that I might fit the panel to be up there with whoever else was already on. I guess Simon [Cowell] was already on board and I don’t know who else at that point,» Seacrest explained.

Maria Menounos could not have been more excited that after ten years of trying, she and her husband Keven Undergaro were finally expecting their first baby together via surrogacy, which she first announced in February. She announced the news during an appearance on Live! with Kelly and Ryan – before it was Live! with Kelly and Mark – and though she appeared overjoyed, and she certainly was, by that point, she already knew that she was secretly battling cancer, which she recently revealed in an interview with People.

In Ripa’s post, she shared an adorable video featuring various pictures of her and her husband throughout the years.“27 years … in 27 seconds!” the talk show host captioned the video. “Happy Anniversary to my beloved @Instasuelos. #TimeFlies.”She also included some snaps of memories with their three children: Michael, 25, Lola, 21, and Joaquin, 20.

Mark [Consuelos] and Kelly [Ripa] had their premiere the other day. The writes an article saying the response to the show was bad, and they quote 10 or 7 or 5 negative tweets about the show.
