The King’s new cypher has officially been revealed ahead of the formal period of royal mourning coming to an end following The Queen ’s death. Announcing the news on Monday after Charles was seen wearing the new logo on his tie, Buckingham Palace confirmed the upcoming change to the iconic ER previously used by the King's late mother.

The affair between King Charles and Camilla Queen Consort has been mentioned in a new trailer for Netflix show, The Crown.The latest instalment of the smash-hit series about the royal family, is set in the nineties, at the time when the late Princess Diana and the now-King's marriage ended in a messy divorce. Season five of The Crown, which is released on 9 November, sees Elizabeth Debicki take on the role of the late princess and Dominic West playing the part of Charles.The trailer begins with a close up shot of Elizabeth as Diana, whilst the original statement that was released by Buckingham Palace, when the couple split in 1992, could be heard.They didn't officially divorce until 1996.

On Friday, Buckingham Palace released a photo of the newly minted monarch carrying out official government duties, with a photo of his late mom and dad, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, behind him.Taken in the Eighteenth Century Room at Buckingham Palace last week, the new pic shows Charles reviewing documents from The King’s Red Box, which contains papers from government ministers in the United Kingdom and the Realms and from representatives from the Commonwealth and beyond.The documents are sent from the Private Secretary’s Office to the king, wherever he may be in residence, in a locked red despatch box.As Charles is hard at work, his parents are keeping close watch, as a photo of the late royals sits behind the sovereign.

King Charles III has paid a moving tribute to his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II, in a new official photograph released by Buckingham Palace.The new King, 73, was pictured with his red box for the first time as he carried out his official duties dealing with papers from government ministers in the UK and the realms, as well as Commonwealth representatives. Charles can be seen looking at the red box containing the papers as he donned a blue pinstripe suit, but in the background a subtle nod to his late mother can be seen.

King Charles III became a grandad for the very first time when he was 65 years old, after the Prince and Princess of Wales welcomed their first child, Prince George. The 73 year old is now a proud grandfather to five children - William and Kate's children, Prince George, nine, Princess Charlotte, seven, and Prince Louis, four, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's two children, Archie, three, and one year old Lilibet. Charles also has five step-grandchildren through his wife Queen Consort Camilla's first marriage to Andrew Parker-Bowles.

King Charles III wants a "slimmed down coronation" next year on his mother's coronation anniversary.The eldest child of the Queen is set to be coronated next year and could choose the date of Friday 2 June. According to MailOnline, sources have said that the service will most likely be "shorter, smaller and less expensive" than the late Queen's in 1953. However, the service will also celebrate her life.

Queen consort Camilla appeared to become a little frustrated by the antics of Princess Charlotte and Prince George at the Queen's funeral. The playful interaction between the two young royals took place after Camilla and their mum Kate Middleton travelled with them to Wellington Arch by car following a sombre funeral service at Westminster Abbey on Monday.

Following the state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II at Westminster Abbey, her coffin was transported by the state hearse to Windsor Castle. Before she is laid to rest alongside Prince Philip, the late monarch had a committal service at St George’s Chapel that was attended by the royal family. During the service Princess Charlotte, who was seated beside her uncle Prince Harry, shared a sweet moment with her father’s brother.

and Prince William.George, 9, and Charlotte, 7, arrived by car with their mother, dressed in black like the rest of the mourners. Charlotte, for the first time, wore a formal hat—like all other female family members at the service—and her first-ever royal brooch, too.

Princess Charlotte, seven, was seen looking "relaxed" with her brother Prince George, nine, as the pair attended their great-grandmother the Queen's funeral on Monday 19 September. While Prince George sported a navy blue suit, his sister wore a black hat and coat while attending the ceremony at Westminster Abbey. According to body language expert Adrienne Carter, Princess Charlotte let her older brother "take lead" at the funeral.

Camilla had been preparing to be interviewed by Jenna Bush Hager, the daughter of former US President George W.
