Richie Myler is said to be expecting a baby with his new girlfriend Stephanie Thirkill six months on from his split from estranged wife Helen Skelton. Helen, who is currently taking part in Strictly Come Dancing, and Richie, 32, were married for almost ten years and share three children together – with their youngest, Elsie Kate, being born late last year. Now Richie is reportedly expecting another child with Stephanie, whom he started dating over the summer.
Reportedly Stephanie took to Instagram to share the pair’s happy news with her tagging Richie in the post. Stephanie’s page is set to private, meaning only close family and friends saw the gushing post. It’s believed that Helen was informed of their baby news before it was announced on social media, Mirror reports.
According to a friend of Richie’s who spoke to The Sun, Richie and Stephanie are “absolutely thrilled” with their baby news. “Stephanie and Richie are obviously thrilled.They have moved very quickly but are extremely happy together.The timing of the pregnancy may raise a few eyebrows though,” they told the publication. "It is obviously such a huge step, and one made remarkably quickly off the back of Helen and Richie’s eight-year marriage ending.
But Richie and Helen maintain cordial relations, and in a way the timing is actually perfect as Helen is so happy at the moment."
