A dad has slammed a Glasgow hospital after his son was left beaten and bruised in a horrific attack by another patient.

A heartbroken family have paid tribute to a Scots dad-of-two killed in a horror crash in Perth and Kinross.
John Carswell Jr, 47, tragically passed away following a collision, involving his grey Porsche 911 Carrera, on the B954 between Alyth and Meigle at around 5pm on Saturday, April 29. Emergency services attended, however, John, from Arbroath, was pronounced dead at the scene.
John is survived by his parents, John and Liz, sister Tracey, brother Stuart, and his two young daughters Isla and Rowan. His family also said he was also a devoted uncle to Adam and Baillie, Nieve and Charlotte.
The well-known businessman's loved ones thanked everyone for the support they have received since his tragic death. In a statement his family said: "We would like to express our gratitude for the overwhelming support we have received in the days following the tragedy.
"John was a well-known businessman in Arbroath. "Away from work, he was an accomplished cyclist, boating was also a keen pursuit, as was scuba diving. "In later years, he took up kayaking and enjoyed many tours of Scotland’s lochs and rivers with family and friends.
