Netflix is set to drop new South Korean drama The Good Bad Mother this week – check below for episode details.Written by Bae Se-young and directed by Shim Na-yeon, the new series will follow the journey of cold-hearted attorney Choi Kang-ho (The Glory‘s Lee Do-hyun), who returns to his hometown after a tragic accident. There, he reconnects with his mother Jin Young-soon (played by Ra Mi-ran) and the pair set out to heal their frayed relationship.The Good Bad Mother will premiere on April 26 on the South Korean cable network JTBC, and will also be available to stream on Netflix in selected regions.There will be 14 episodes of the K-drama in total, with new instalments dropping twice a week on Wednesdays and Thursdays for seven weeks until the season finale on Thursday, June 8, 2023.

K-pop boyband SEVENTEEN’s new mini-album ‘FML’ has become the highest-selling K-pop album in its first week to date.Yesterday (April 24), SEVENTEEN returned with their tenth mini-album ‘FML’, led by title tracks ‘F*ck My Life’ and ‘Super’. In less than 24 hours since its release, the record has set a new record for highest first-week sales for a K-pop album.According to South Korea’s Hanteo Chart, per The Korea Times on Tuesday morning KST, ‘FML’ sold over 3.9million copies after it dropped the evening prior, making it the highest-ever number of albums sold by a K-pop act in the first week of release.The record was previously held by BTS with their 2020 album ‘Map of the Soul: 7’, which had achieved over 3.3million sales in its first week.

NMIXX, has signed with a new label.Today (April 14), South Korean news publication Sports Kyunghyang reported that ex-NMIXX member Jinni has signed with a new agency called United Artist Production (UAP).In addition, the outlet also reported that UAP has inked a management collaboration deal with Sublime Artist Agency, home to Tiffany Young, Jackson Wang and more.Sublime Artist Agency has since confirmed the news in a statement to Star News. “Jinni recently signed an exclusive contract with UAP and we have decided to work together through the MOU collaboration,” the agency said.“We will provide generous support to UAP’s artist Jinni’s global activities so she can showcase her multitude of talents and potential, and we are delighted to be able to demonstrate our synergy together,” it added.UAP has since opened Instagram, Facebook and YouTube accounts, where they refer to the K-pop singer under the modified moniker of “Jini”.Jinni left NMIXX and JYP Entertainment in December 2022, less than ten months after the girl group made their debut in February of the same year.At the time, JYP Entertainment said that Jinni was leaving “due to personal circumstances”.

Yossman Jamie Dornan starrer “The Tourist” has gone into production on Season 2 in Dublin, Ireland with Dornan reprising his role as an amnesia-afflicted car crash victim struggling to piece together his past. Danielle Macdonald also returns for Season 2 as Helen Chambers, a probationary constable trying to help Dornan regain his memories while Greg Larsen reprises his role as Ethan Krum. Jinyoung is set to enlist into the South Korean military next month.Today (April 5), South Korean news outlet JTBC reported that the GOT7 member has received his military enlistment notice and would begin his mandatory service in May, adding that the K-pop idol would serve as an active-duty soldier.The report has since been confirmed by Jinyoung’s agency BH Entertainment. In a statement to South Korean media, BH Entertainment said that the K-pop idol “will receive basic military training at the training center [starting] on Monday, May 8 and fulfill his military duty as an active-duty soldier”, per Osen, as translated by Soompi.Jinyoung will be the second member of GOT7 to enlist in the South Korean military, following leader JAY B in February.
