'He did not deserve to die the way he did': Family of Kersal Dale murder investigation victim Stuart Everett tell of their anguish

The distraught family of Kersal Dale murder investigation victim Stuart Everett have told of their anguish, saying: "He did not deserve to die the way he did." A huge probe was launched after parts of Mr Everett's body were found at the Salford nature reserve on April 4.
The 67-year-old is believed to have died at an house in Winton, Salford, at the end of March. Further dismembered remains have since been found in three other locations across the city.
Two men, Michal Jaroslaw Polchowski, 68, and Marcin Majerkiewicz, 42, have been charged with his murder.

In a tribute released today, Mr Everett's family said: "We as a family are united in our grief over the devastating news of Stuart’s untimely death and the manner in which he died. He was a unique and endearing character who always put his family and many friends first.
"He loved his food his garden his music and a flutter on the horses. We have been overwhelmed with the messages of support and are thankful that so many people thought so much of him.
"He did not deserve to die the way he did and will be eternally missed. R.I.P."
The investigation began when a lower back, buttocks, and a thigh were found wrapped in cellophane at Kersal Dale. Further remains were then uncovered at Blackleach Reservoir at Walkden, Linneyshaw Colliery Wood, between Walkden and Swinton and in an alleyway close to the railway lines off Worsley Road in Winton.
Searches are continuing at those locations, and also at a house on Worsley Road in Winton area and at a storage unit at Woolfield Trading Estate in Bury.
