‘Haunted Heart’ Starring Matt Dillon Lands North American Distribution With VMI Releasing – Cannes Market

Jack Dunn Sideshow and Janus Films have acquired North American rights for Gints Zilbalodis’ animated adventure film “Flow,” which premiered in Un Certain Regard at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival. “We were so excited to see what Gints Zilbalodis would do after his surprising debut feature ‘Away’ in which he did almost all of the work single-handedly,” said Sideshow and Janus Films in a joint statement.

Matthew Perry, who was famous for his role as Chandler Bing in Friends, died in October last year. A post-mortem revealed his death was an accident from "the acute effects of ketamine" - which is used a recreational drug and to treat depression. Now it's been reported the Los Angeles Police Department have opened an investigation into why there was so much ketamine in the actor's system.

Perry’s cause of death was from “cardiovascular overstimulation and respiratory depression”, from the acute effects of drug use.Cox starred as Monica alongside Perry in Friends from 1994-2004 and their on-screen relationship proved a hit with fans of the show.In a new interview with CBS, Cox said that she still “senses” Perry around her.She explained: “I’m so thankful I got to work so closely with him for so many years.

Courteney Cox has opened up about the loss of her Friends co-star Matthew Perry and told how she believes he "visits" her regularly since his death last October. While discussing the 20th anniversary of the comedy series' finale on CBS Sunday Morning at the weekend, the actress opened up about the late star and said: "You know, he’s just so funny. He has genuinely a huge heart, obviously struggled.

“CBS Sunday Morning,” the actress, who starred as Monica Geller alongside Perry’s Chandler Bing for 10 seasons on the hit show, commemorated the 20th anniversary of the sitcom’s series finale.In the show, the pair’s two characters ultimately end up together.“I think he’s probably one of the funniest human beings in the world. He’s just so funny,” Cox, 59, said. “He is genuinely a huge heart.

Palud’s film sheds light on the tragic life of Maria Schneider, who starred opposite Marlon Brando in Bernardo Bertolucci’s “The Last Tango in Paris” at the age of 19 and never recovered from the shoot. The film depicts how Schneider was imposed an un-simulated rape scene on the set of “The Last Tango in Paris” by Bertolucci and Brando.

Patrick Frater Asia Bureau Chief Korean sales firm Finecut has inked multiple deals for horror thriller “Noise” and for “A Traveler’s Needs,” the recent Berlin prize-winner directed by Hong Sangsoo.“Noise” is a “multi-sensory and realistic horror” film that intertwines societal motifs of “floor noise” with suspenseful elements. Directed by Kim Soo-jin, the film centers around a woman with a hearing aid haunted by inexplicable sounds linked to her sister’s disappearance in her own apartment and attracting a malevolent presence.
