Harry Styles has revealed how he is not the wild rock n' roll star some people might think he is – admitting he opts for an early night over wild parties. The former One Direction star says that while he looks the part on stage, once he is finished performing he doesn't drink and goes straight to bed. Instead of partying backstage, the 28 year old As It Was singer likes nothing more than an early night. Speaking to DJ Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, he said: “I’m pretty strict on tour anyway.
“I don’t drink. I go straight to sleep and all of that kind of stuff – probably the opposite of what everyone thinks I’m doing after a show.” Harry revealed he gets plenty of shut eye and sleeps a “minimum of 10 to 11 hours” a day while he is touring. The singer explained this is so he can save up all his energy up for the two hours he is on stage performing each night. He said: “Touring is lonely sometimes anyway – and I feel strangely lucky that I’m used to it.
“I just use the time to attempt to take care of myself as well as possible. “I’ll sleep like 10 or 11 hours minimum when I’m touring. It’s more the travelling that is the tiring thing.
“I kind of look at it as ‘okay for a couple of hours a night, give it everything’, then the rest of the time I’ll spend trying to take care of myself as well as I can. If I kind of cocoon and just kind of focus I can do it.” Harry, who has been a solo star since One Direction went on a hiatus in 2015, also admitted to being a “control freak” when it comes to his work. The Watermelon Sugar singer added: “I really like making stuff and I really like coming up with ideas and collaborating. I feel really lucky the people I get to work with are really fun.

They dug out props, costumes and decorations to help make the video for new single ‘Daylight’, before appearing in the video themselves. You can watch the making of the video, and the video itself, here:Earlier this week, Styles covered Wet Leg‘s ‘Wet Dream’ for BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge.

The “Carpool Karaoke” host then took a tour of the apartment to help form his vision for the music video and saw that one of the girls was a big fan of the “Dunkirk” star. Her room was complete with her own Styles snapshot collage, a One Direction book and a photo of the “Watermelon Sugar” crooner dressed as Harry Potter.“We need to hide all of this because I’m worried you’re a psychopath,” he announced to her.
Harry Styles has been compared to a young Mick Jagger many times, and with the release of his latest album, , the comparisons have become increasingly more popular. Although Jagger himself doesn't seem to see it.The Rolling Stones frontman and music icon recently spoke with the Times U.K., where he addressed fans who equate Styles to himself and said he doesn't feel the comparisons are particularly apt.«I mean, I used to wear a lot more eye make-up than him,» the 78-year-old rocker shared.

Olivia Wilde steps out for a stroll through New York City on Friday (May 20).
Searching for clues! Harry Styles is back with a new album — and fans can’t help scrutinizing the lyrics for hints about his relationship with Olivia Wilde.
It’s called “Harry’s House,” but the much-anticipated new album by the hottest male pop star on the planet — that would be, duh, Harry Styles — plays more like “Harry’s Boudoir.”Indeed, the sexy intimacy on Styles’ third solo album makes you feel like you’re peeking through the bedroom door as the former One Direction heartthrob is putting it down with his current flame, actress Olivia Wilde.Yup, putting it down.Owning all of the hip-swerving swagger that made “Watermelon Sugar” a No. 1 hit in 2020 and won Styles his first Grammy, the singer is a ball of falsetto friskiness at the beginning of “Harry House.” “Green eyes, fried rice, I could cook an egg on you/Late night, game time, coffee on the stove/You’re sweet ice cream, but you could use a flake or two/Blue bubblegum twisted around your tongue,” coos Styles, grinding up agains a greasy bass line in his best falsetto at the beginning of the album opener “Music for a Sushi Restaurant.Clearly, the trumpets aren’t the only things that are horny on this jazz-kissed come-on.

Earlier this month, Harry Styles announced "One Night Only In New York," a concert at UBS Arena to celebrate the release of his third studio album Harry's House on May 20. Tickets were only $25, and I haven't checked Ticketmaster, but I'm going to assume they're all sold out. However, Apple Music subscribers will be able to livestream the concert from home.
Fans of Harry Styles have been left puzzled after hearing the “new” accent he has in his interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music. The 28 year old appeared in the newly-released discussion to promote his upcoming album Harry’s House, and seemed to show off a range accents during the hour-long chat. Harry’s blended speech is understandable considering that he moved from Cheshire to London when he found fame in One Direction, before then relocating to the States, where he lives the majority of the time now with American girlfriend Olivia Wilde.
