Harry's UK trip for Charles' Coronation will be 'fairly quick', says royal expert

Prince Harry’s upcoming trip to the UK for King Charles and the Queen Consort’s coronation will be “fairly quick”, a royal expert has claimed. Following the death of Queen Elizabeth last September, fans and critics of Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, wondered whether they would attend the coronation of the former’s father, which is set for May 6.
After months of speculation, a spokesperson for the US-based couple confirmed that they had received an official invitation. On Thursday, it was revealed that Harry, 38, would be attending the once-in-a-lifetime event without his wife, who would remain in the States with their kids, Archie, three, and Lilibet, one.
Following the news, royal expert Omid Scobie, author of Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of A Modern Royal Family, suggested that Meghan could have stayed behind because of Archie’s fourth birthday, which is also on May 6. “I understand that Archie's fourth birthday (also on May 6) played a factor in the couple's decision,” he wrote on Twitter.
Continuing his post, Omid further argued: “Expect it to be a fairly quick trip to the UK for Prince Harry, who will only be attending the coronation ceremony at Westminster Abbey.” In the comments, fans seemingly backed the 'Spare' Prince, with one person penning: “Yes.Turn that plane around.” “Harry said he’d pop in and out of the UK for the Coronation.
