BTS’ Jimin has released a new digital single titled ‘Closer Than This’, dedicated to the group’s fans.Today (December 22), the BTS singer unveiled a music video for his new track. In an announcement earlier this week, Big Hit Music said that the song conveys Jimin’s “love and affection for his fans”.The accompanying music video opens with a behind-the-scenes clip where Jimin brainstorms lyrics for the track.

Green Day have shared a behind-the-scenes look at the making of their recent single ‘Dilemma’.The song was recorded at RAK Studios in London with legendary producer Rob Cavallo and footage of them in the studio is intercut with scenes of them enjoying the sights of the capital.The song is the third preview of the trio’s 14th studio album ‘Saviors’ (out January 19), following on from recent tracks ‘The American Dream Is Killing Me’ and ‘Look Ma, No Brains!’.“The masters at work in the studio,” reads the caption. “Just like that, Dilemma was born!!”Check it out below:“‘Dilemma’ was one of those songs that was kind of easy to write because it was so personal to me,” frontman Billie Joe Armstrong explained in a statement when the track was released.“We’ve seen so many of our peers struggle with addiction and mental illness.

Creamfields has unveiled a new 30,000 capacity indoor main stage called APEX for its 2024 edition.The festival, which will take place over the August Bank Holiday weekend from August 22-25 next year at its usual site in Daresbury, Cheshire, is already sold out.The festival claims that APEX will be the largest indoor festival superstructure in the world, and promises it will be paired with “jaw dropping production”. The stage will also allow the festival to extend until 4am on Saturday night for the first time.The lineup for the dance festival’s 2024 incarnation has yet to be announced, although the organisers have confirmed that the arena hosts will include Teletech and techno promoters XXL.At the 2023 edition of Creamfields, the weekend was headlined by Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Fatboy Slim, Swedish House Mafia, Tiësto and Four Tet.

Amber Liu, a member of K-pop girl group f(x), has announced new dates for her upcoming 2024 ‘No More Sad Songs’ world tour.Today (December 5), Amber Liu revealed the new Asia, Australia and New Zealand legs of her upcoming 2024 tour. It’ll feature four shows in Asia – in Japan, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Singapore – alongside two Aussie concerts and one New Zealand performance in February and March.In addition, the f(x) singer also announced that indie pop singer-songwriter Marielle Kraft will join her on the North American leg of the tour, which features eight shows across January 2024.

Kasabian have announced a huge ‘Summer Solstice II’ show in their hometown of Leicester ahead of a new album, ‘Happenings’.The band will be performing at Leicester’s Victoria Park on Saturday July 6 with Kaiser Chiefs set to support. Nadine Shah has released ‘Twenty Things’, the second single from her upcoming full-length, ‘Filthy Underneath’. Upon a hypnotic groove, dramatic piano stabs and a gloomy sonic atmosphere, Shah recounts various colourful characters who appear to hide darker secrets. In the second verse, she sings: “They’re laying flowers by the bus stop / Some poor old junkie’s lucks up  / Took a man and woman on the same day  / His right leg shorter than the other / The second eldest brother  / Goes to see his mother every Sunday ”. In a press release, Shah expressed that the sombre track was inspired by a slate of characters she encountered “whilst in recovery”.
