Greater Manchester Police issue update after huge brawl erupts before car 'driven at people'

Two men who were arrested after a huge brawl erupted in the street in Wythenshawe have been released on bail, police have confirmed.
Four men in total have been arrested since the violent scenes escalated on Floatshall Road on Sunday afternoon (May 12). The clash involved around 10 men, some of whom had weapons, police said.
Five were hurt in the chaotic scenes. Video footage of the incident showed a vehicle being surrounded by a group who went on to attack those inside, with the windscreen smashed during the fracas.

The same vehicle was then driven at a group who were standing on a grass verge before speeding off. Two men - aged 25 and 31 - were arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
They were released on bail, police revealed yesterday. Two further suspects - another aged 25 and 27 - were then arrested on suspicion of wounding.
In an update issued today (May 15), a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said they have now also been bailed pending further investigations.
Enquiries are ongoing and detectives are asking for anyone with information about the incident to come forward. In particular they are seeking any relevant doorbell, dashcam, CCTV, or mobile phone footage.
