The government has today updated its advice for expectant mums working in the NHS and other key roles.
While still categorising pregnant women among the 'vulnerable' groups amid the coronavirus pandemic, employers are being told to give them the choice of whether to carry on working in 'direct patient-facing roles'.
Those who are less than 28 weeks pregnant are being urged to practise social distancing, but can keep working provided necessary precautions are taken.
