Gordon Ramsay has defended Brooklyn Beckham's cooking skills after people suggested his roast beef was “raw”.
The celebrity chef, who been awarded 17 Michelin stars overall and currently holds seven, stood up for the 24-year-old, who is good friends with his children. Gordon, 57, said he couldn't understand the criticism Brooklyn received when he posted a video on Instagram last year showing him preparing a prime rib with celebrity chef Kevin Lee.
His followers joked that the meat was still raw, with one commenting: “A good vet could bring that back to life.” While another added: "Might as well bite the cow while it’s grazing." And a third said: "That joint is way too raw. Should be pink in the middle, not the whole joint!" They also chimed in about him using "too much butter" and were unhappy with the price the roast dinner would have cost.
One follower said: "What pains me the most is that probably cost more than most British families can afford to spend on food in a week." Another added: "Couldn’t afford the amount of butter used! Rather pay a tenner for carvery than 80 quid in butter." However Gordon, who is friends with Brooklyn's parents, Victoria and David Beckham, didn't agree with the criticism. In an interview with MailOnline, Gordon confirmed that Brooklyn grew up with his children, Megan, twins Jack and Holly, Tilly, and Oscar.
Brooklyn and his siblings Romeo, Cruz, and Harper would regularly play with his children while he visited friends Victoria and David Beckham. He said: "I haven't seen the video of his supposedly 'raw' beef." "But even as a 12-year-old, whilst playing football, Brooklyn was always excited about food.
