Golden Globes nominates three women for Best Director for the first time ever - OLD

Publicists from more than 100 firms that represent nearly all of the talent in Hollywood have sent a letter to the HFPA to demand “transformational change” within the organization.

Alongside Promising Young Woman director Emerald Fennell, this marks the first time two women have been nominated for Best Director in the history of the Academy Awards — and this is the 93rd edition of the ceremony.
