Gogglebox fans were left baffled as Rylan's mum revealed his real name on the show. The Channel 4 show was airing a special episode for Pride on Friday night (July 1). Rylan was settled down on the sofa with his mum Linda, who sparked concern during the episode as she was seen with a feeding tube.
And as they chatted away she revealed he is not actually called Rylan at all. Linda accidentally blurted out his real name - 'Ross' - which was a surprise to many viewers. Rylan has actually had three names over his life.

When he signed up for a modelling agency he was told Ross was boring, and was known as Kielan instead. Then while visiting a branch of WH Smith, the budding star flicked through a baby name book to the 'R' section when he happened on the name Rylan and adopted it.
