A popular restaurant with locations in Glasgow and Edinburgh has been crowned the 'Best in Scotland' at a prestigious awards co-founded by Gok Wan.
The Golden Chopsticks Awards celebrate the top East and South East Asian cuisine across the UK. At the 2024 ceremony, which was held on April 29 in London, multi-cuisine restaurant COSMO Authentic World Kitchen took home the coveted Scotland prize.
COSMO has two venues in Glasgow, located at St Enoch Centre and Silverburn. It also has one restaurant in both Edinburgh and Aberdeen. Elsewhere, COSMO took home the Best Multi-Site Venue prize at the awards, with 22 locations around the UK. It also claimed the title for Northern Ireland as well.
Specialising in all-you-can-eat buffets, the restaurant serves up more than 150 dishes from every corner of the world. Recognised for its East and South East Asian cuisine, COSMO offers Teppanyaki-style dishes cooked over roaring flames.
It also features a Chinese menu that allows guests to tour the Asian continent, enjoying everything from Cantonese to Sichuan, Shandong and Fujian.
Additionally, COSMO is known for its live cooking stations, where chefs engage in food theatre in front of customers. Searing premium cuts of meat amidst the fires, the experience is popular amongst visitors looking for a more immersive dining experience.
