There’s nothing quite like a new haircut to give you a confidence boost, and former Coronation Street star Georgia May Foote is proof that new hair can make you feel like a new woman. The actress showed off her newly transformed locks on Instagram on Wednesday as she revealed she’d gone for a dramatic chop and colour change. Georgia’s hair was previously a longer, more mid-length cut that fell below her shoulders, but she chose to chop several inches off her length in favour of a much shorter shoulder-skimming bob with a blunt cut.
Her new style kept her usual slightly off centre middle parting, giving more volume and weight to one side of her hair than the other, and was cut with long layers to give her hair an even, blunt finish. The new cut also helped make her hair look thicker and more voluminous, and was styled with oversized beachy waves to give it some added bounce.
Georgia, who was also runner up on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, visited Manchester-based stylist and balayage specialist Natalie Auston for her hair transformation, and took full advantage of Natalie’s dyeing skills, as she also opted for a caramel-coloured balayage in her hair to lighten the ends. For Georgia’s balayage, Natalie kept the lightened sections framing her face and added some extra lightness at the ends, balancing them with a slightly darker brunette root to give her hair a naturally lightened look.
Rather than going too blonde, Georgia’s balayage is a warm caramel shade of brunette that blends seamlessly with her hair for a much softer, more natural look. Balayage differs from your typical highlights as its done in a much more abstract way, with the stylist hand painting larger sections of hair to create a more random and less uniform

Hollywood stars have had such illustrious and iconic careers that they are considered royalty in their own right. Even though they may appear to us common folk as kings and queens, a surprising number of celebrities have distinct hereditary connections to monarchies. Peter Debruge Chief Film Critic Once upon a time, animated movies made it easy to tell the heroes apart from the villains. Now, the trend is for princesses to remain happily unmarried (“Frozen”), for kids to know better than their elders (“Encanto”) and for monsters to be revealed as misunderstood allies (“Luca”). For a while, those twists on the Disney fairy-tale formula felt surprising to audiences, aligning nicely with where the cultural conversation was headed. Through repetition, however, such enlightenment has become its own cliché. Enter Nimona, who brings a fresh dose of attitude to such inclusive messaging. She’s a monster, but doesn’t like to be called that. (And who can blame her?) Apparently the only one of her kind in a fictional kingdom where medieval customs and flying cars aren’t mutually exclusive, Nimona is capable of shape-shifting into practically any species — be it a shark, a rhinoceros or a ginormous dragon — though her hot pink hair/fur/skin makes it kind of hard to blend in. When she first appears in the rowdy Netflix animated feature that bears her name, Nimona is sporting a pixie-punk haircut, piercings and an insatiable desire to do maximum damage to the society that’s been demonizing her for roughly a millennium. She is not what anyone would call a good girl, and that makes her a far more interesting character than practically any princess.

BBC sitcom will know, Sir David, now 83 years old, wasn't the first choice to play the part of the cockney hooky dealer from Peckham. In fact, he wasn't the second or third favourite to take on the role - but thankfully Del Boy eventually landed in the hands of Jason. It's been nearly 20 years since the last ever Only Fools episode broadcast on BBC One, ending the actor's stint on the show, but Del Boy is still widely considered one of the greatest comedy characters in the history of television.

Known for her golden blonde tresses and impeccable honey-coloured highlights, Jennifer Aniston has never been anything less than hair goals. It first began with her iconic ‘Rachel’ haircut on the set of Friends back in the mid-90s, where her character’s signature voluminous bob featured long layers that flicked outwards and framed her face, complete with a half tuck behind the ears that her stylist revealed was to help her grow out her damaged hair and bangs.Throughout her time on the show, Jennifer’s hair went through several of its own transformations, including getting lighter, blonder, and longer, not to mention dabbling with an ultra short chin-grazing bob and a choppy side fringe in later seasons.
