Georgia Harrison has recalled the cruel taunt one ex-boyfriend said following their split.
The former Love Island star said that while her former partner was a huge support during her court battle with Stephen Bear, he issued a vile taunt following their split. Georgia split with her former partner just one month before she won her case against the former Celebrity Big Brother star.
Georgia launched legal action against Bear after he filmed them having sex without her permission and shared the footage online. In March this year, Bear was jailed for 21 months after being found guilty of voyeurism and two counts of disclosing private sexual photos and films with intent to cause distress.
The disgraced reality star has also been ordered to sign the sex offenders register and pay Georgia over £200,000 – the highest sum ever awarded in an image abuse case. Speaking to Elizabeth Day’s How To Fail podcast, she said: “It’s been really hard. I did have one relationship since it happening, which in a way was a big, big support to me.
"But actually at the end of our relationship, one of the things he said to me when we were splitting up was, ‘Who would want to be with you anyway, you’ve been all over the internet.’”
The 28-year-old continued: “I think that was really, really hard for me to hear. Firstly from someone who’d made me rebuild my trust, but secondly that’s like my biggest fear – that men are now going to be concerned about being with me in the future. Because this is something that could arise, especially if you go on to have a family with me. It’s something that come up in the future with our children. It does worry me that people don’t value me the same because of it.”
