Gemma Collins is reportedly full of "hope and joy" at the prospects of becoming a mum next year. The 42-year-old recently revealed she has started her fertility journey after a tough battle with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome .
The television star, 42, has been suffering from PCOS for the last 13 years - a condition which makes conceiving children difficult. Gemma has also candidly spoken about having suffered three “devastating” miscarriages in the past.
Now the glamour queen feels it is the "perfect time" to welcome a little one as she looks ahead into 2024. She says she was given fresh hope by Gordon Ramsay, 57, and his wife Tana, 49, welcoming their sixth child last month.
"Gemma has been trying to become a mother for so long and it’s the perfect time, she’s so excited for Christmas and is hoping for a miracle and a little one for the new year," a source told OK! Magazine.
"The Tana Ramsay news was the greatest thing to wake up to," Gemma said. "Incredible. It really made me think positively about my future and it kind of took the pressure off. I don’t think anyone knew Tana was pregnant, so it was such a lovely surprise, but I got butterflies in my stomach when I saw it."
Gemma recently said she had the help of a fertility doctor to start her journey, adding: "I’m starting my fertility journey within the next couple of weeks. I’m going to a clinic so watch these cards and get ready for me, honey."
It comes as the former TOWIE star appears to have finally settled down with fiancé Rami Hawash, 50, despite having a rollercoaster love-life over the years.
