Former Manchester United captain Gary Neville says the club must add a goalkeeper and a striker to their ranks this summer to avoid the risk of "massively struggling".
United manager Erik ten Hag has grand ambitions to strengthen his squad in this summer's transfer window ahead of the start of the 2023/24 campaign. He has made signing a world-class striker his main objective and has identified Tottenham Hotspur ace Harry Kane as his top target to solve the Reds' goalscoring woes.

As well as needing to draft in a striker, Neville also believes the Reds must bring in a new goalkeeper. David de Gea, despite winning the Premier League's Golden Glove this season, faced regular criticism towards the end of the campaign, meaning many supporters hope the club will draft in a new first-choice shot-stopper.

"The reality of it is, David de Gea has had a great career at United, he has been a fantastic goalkeeper. But now is the time for him
