Gary Lineker had some harsh words for Manchester United after their Premier League clash with Liverpool, saying it was like a "League Two team going to Anfield and hanging on for a draw."
Liverpool had a tough time on Sunday as they couldn't score against United's strong defence despite enjoying much more possession. The home side had the ball a lot but didn't really scare Erik ten Hag's team.
The best chance in the match was actually for Rasmus Hojlund, but Alisson Becker stopped it. After some big wins over United before, like the 7-0 win in March, many had thought heading into the game that Liverpool would win easily.

But the game itself ended up being something of an anti-climax as United managed to shut Liverpool down. On The Rest is Football podcast, Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer said they didn't like how United played, but Micah Richards thought they did well.
Lineker mentioned: "That was a damp squib, wasn't it? There was hardly a proper chance in the game. The only bit I enjoyed about the match was watching Trent's (Trent Alexander-Arnold) passing."
He also shared a message from a friend who supports Manchester United: "I got a text from a Manchester United-supporting friend of mine he said, 'it's come to this, the highlight of the game is watching Johnny Evans punt the ball down the touchline in the hope, the dream that Antony could maybe get on the end of it and win a throw in'.
"We're talking about Manchester United like they're a League Two team going to Anfield and hanging on for a draw."
