Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus has been told the benefits of leaving Manchester City for Arsenal.
The Brazilian has been linked with a switch to the Emirates amid the arrivals of Erling Haaland and January signing Julian Alvarez. Jesus had a solid start to the season, scoring five and assisting nine before the start of 2022.
He struggled for game time in the first two months of the year before finishing the title-winning campaign in style, grabbing seven goals and three assists across all competitions in the final two months.

However, he only completed a full 90 minutes in 13 league games and is at risk of seeing that number reduce due to the incoming City strikers. Former England international Darren Bent believes Jesus needs regular game time, which Arsenal could offer.
There is a possibility that the 25-year-old may play only a bit-part in Pep Guardiola ’s plans next season, and not enjoy as many minutes as he would at the Gunners. Speaking on talkSPORT, he said: “I’d like to see him (Jesus) go to Arsenal. I think he’d be brilliant.
“He’s not got a point to prove but I think he needs regular football and I think he’s more than good enough to score the goals to help Arsenal get back to where they’d like to get to. So I think that would be a really good addition to the squad.”
