Banks all across the country have seen a growing trend in people choosing online banking over going into their local branch.
This has led to many of the nation's leading banks to shut down branches, leading to 76 bank closures in May alone. "Whenever we close a branch we communicate with all regular customers to ensure they are aware of alternative ways to bank and offer support using digital.”
