A man was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault after police were called to a property in Middleton.
Police were called to the incident on Mayburn Close just after 6am on Sunday (July 23). The man was arrested on the scene.
He has since been released on bail, police said. An investigation is ongoing.

Residents reported seeing a number of police vehicles at the scene as early as 7am on Sunday morning before forensics conducted investigations at one of the flats. CSI officers were reportedly seen taking pictures and inspecting the outside before they were seen going in and out of the property for a number of hours.
Mayburn Close, near Alkrington, is a number of mainly retirement bungalows and flats. One homeowner said: "I didn't sleep very well in the night, I looked out at about 7am and saw a police car at the end of the road, a police van and forensics.
"CSI were going in and out of the house taking pictures. They were here all morning and left about 1 o'clock. It's hard to believe it if something sinister has happened here, it's all old folk and really quiet."
Another told of how her father-in-law, who is in his 90s, had noticed a number of police vehicles arriving at the scene on Sunday.
In a statement, a Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "Officers attended a property on Mayburn Close, Middleton shortly after 6am on (Sunday 23 July 2023) where a man was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault.
"He has been released on bail whilst investigations are ongoing."
