Pet owners have been told the easiest ways to remove hairs and smells from inside their cars.
Taking your dog or cat on a little road trip this summer may sound like a great idea but your little furry friends can actually cause a real mess in your backseat. From potent odours to hair all over the place, it can be a real pain to clean out your car after a drive with your pooch.
Thankfully, the experts at LeaseCar.uk have named five tips for pet owners to keep their vehicles clean and fresh.
Tim Alcock, from LeaseCar.uk said: "As much as we love our pets, it can be a nuisance to try and get rid of all the pet hairs that have stuck to the car seats and fallen into hard to reach gaps.
"Simply using a lint roller or wiping rubber gloves over the interior will lift up pet hairs and grime. Smells from our pets can also be hard to get rid of - but spraying a solution of white vinegar and water, or letting baking soda sit on the surface, can help to neutralise odours."
"Another tip is to collect old blankets and towels to place over the seats to stop your pet from damaging the interior of your car. These can be vacuumed and shaken out regularly. Putting them on a hot wash can help to remove smells."

Roll a lint roller across the area where your pet sits to easily lift up any hairs that have become stuck to the vehicle interior. This method will pick up hairs quickly.
Just remember to change the sticky sheets often in order to collect as much pet hair as possible.
Amazon has a three-pack of lint rollers available for just £6.99 to perform this hack.
