You know that summer is starting when three of the biggest names in British dance music team up on a song that's destined to be blasting out wherever the boiling hot sun is shining over the next few months.
Of course, even on paper this particular trio teaming up just makes perfect sense. Nathan & Ella have already joined forces before this, resulting in last year's 21 Reasons, a slow-burning hit that made it all the way to Number 9 on the Official Singles Chart - also part of a particularly sterling year for Ella, who reached the Top 10 for a second time last year with David Guetta and Becky Hill on Crazy What Love Can Do, and Ella is actually still in the Top 10 right now, as part of Switch Disco's React.
Joel's chart presence, of course, needs no explanation at this point; one Number 1 single to his name (Head & My Heart with MNEK) and another four Top 10s to his name - all achieved consecutively, by the way!
Since last year, you really get the sense that Joel is having fun experimenting with his formula for success, his recent plethora of singles - like the Caity Baser featuring Dance Around It - have placed one foot further in the rave, while the overlooked Do U Want Me Baby with Billen Ted & Elphi is clearly inspired by the futuristic stylings of Charli XCX's Pop 2 project.
So, we come to natural meeting point of all three artists and their talents; 0800 Heaven is definitely one of the most rave-centric tracks of the year so far (perhaps, of course, apart from Calvin Harris & Ellie Goulding's Miracle)
But while Miracle is more inspired by a trance aesthetic, 0800 Heaven leans more towards a Eurodance and Y2K audience, hinting that this will be the sound of the summer, particularly in Ibiza.
As you expect from

wrote on Twitter Friday shortly after news circulated that the series would not be returning for a third installment. The cancellation comes week’s after NBC’s last batch of decisions for on-the-bubble shows, which involved canceling “Grand Crew” after two seasons and “Young Rock” after three seasons.“I’m so sorry we didn’t get to make those episodes, but I’m immensely proud of the 23 episodes of the show we did put out there,” Spitzer continued.
Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding could work a Miracle with a ninth non-consecutive week at Number 1. The enduring smash lifts two to return to the summit midweek.
On the Friday after Tom Wambsgans became the new puppet CEO of the Waystar-Royco media empire, the actor who has spent the past five years essaying the character’s ups, downs, and withering one-liners is propping up the bar of a small boutique hotel in London’s Chelsea. Matthew Macfadyen is nursing a lime tonic and contemplating a rest after several months of hard work on Succession’s blockbusting fourth season. In some other world, one imagines his fictional alter-ego is already discovering the poison in the chalice of the job he has spent a lifetime coveting. Macfadyen, instead, is content simply to think ahead to a quiet family dinner, and to reflect on the adventure of his past half decade.
In HBO’s hit series The Last of Us, it’s the end of the world as most of humanity knows it, but Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey feel just fine. Long gone are the traces of the hardened survivor Joel (Pascal) and the teenage spitfire Ellie (Ramsey), who must endure the collapse of modern civilization due to a deadly mutable fungus that turns people into zombie-like creatures. Well, sort of. Comfortably sat within the confines of a secluded lounge at the Directors Guild of America, the pair are swapping inside jokes and bursting with laughter. While Pascal trades in Joel’s stoicism for passion, Ramsey can’t quite shake the penchant for Ellie’s habitual cussing.
With the sun shining and everyone from Harry Styles to Pink playing massive outdoor concerts, summer has well and truly arrived.
