Channel 5 thriller Finders Keepers promises to delve into the world of metal detecting - and an ordinary family caught up in a murky situation they aren't equipped to handle. The star-studded cast includes Neil Morrissey, James Buckley and Fay Ripley.
The four-part drama is from the pen of Dan Sefton, the writer behind The Good Karma Hospital and Trust Me. And the intriguing premise is simple - what would you do if you unearthed a trove of buried treasure?
The series opens with keen detectorist and law-abiding local history enthusiast Martin (Morrissey) and his future son-in-law Ashley (Buckley) on a bonding trip to Somerset. The pair stumble across Saxon coins and jewellery worth half a million pounds.

But after striking gold they face a moral dilemma - should they declare their find or try to sell it to solve their money worries? They soon find that their actions have consequences that before long threaten to spiral out of control.
Added to this, both men have problems at home. Martin's wife Anne is tempted by the attentions of another man while their daughter Laura is having doubts about marrying wheeler-dealer Ashley.
Writer Dan Sefton says the inspiration for the series came from a newspaper article about people in Shropshire who found buried treasure and tried to sell them in London. He described it as "darker than you might think" and a thriller that "walks an interesting line".
