The cosy wooden huts that pop up around the city in the lead up to Christmas will be back from November. Manchester Bar Hütte will be setting up 15 of its rustic drinking sheds for the festive period.
They’ll be pitched at the Great Northern Square off Deansgate, and will arrive on November 9, before packing up and moving on after New Year’s Eve. They will be available to host a raft of activities and events too.
The karaoke huts will be available to hire for up to eight people, over slots of one hour and 40 minutes, at a cost of £50 on Mondays and Tuesdays, and £60 for the rest of the week, including karaoke machine hire.
The ‘Santa Claus Club’ hire is aimed at families, with a karaoke machine for one hour, free hot chocolate and colouring for the kids, and selfie opportunities with Santa himself, with bookings now open and ranging from £25 for two people up to eight in all.
Meanwhile, the ‘party lodges’ can accommodate 10 to 20 people, and for £150 you’ll get a magnum of prosecco thrown in with the karaoke machine and a slot of one hour and 50 minutes.
Wholesome crafting is also available, with wreath-making classes running on November 27, 29, 30 and December 6. The huts will close most nights at 11pm, and 10pm on Sundays.
For more information, check the Bar Hütte site.
