Faye Webster, Julien Baker and more share ‘Through The Soil II’ benefit compilation

Julien Baker has announced a three-track EP of outtakes from her recent third album, ‘Little Oblivion’, alongside the release of an emotive new single titled ‘Guthrie’.The EP, titled ‘B-Sides’, will arrive on July 21 via Matador (pre-save it here), coinciding with the first date of her joint US tour with Angel Olsen and Sharon Van Etten.The record features three songs that were recorded during the studio sessions for ‘Little Oblivions’ but didn’t make the cut for the album’s final tracklist. K.J. Yossman Netflix has greenlit Swedish comedy film “One More Time” with Hedda Stiernstedt (“Beforeigners”) in the leading role.Jonatan Etzler will make his directorial feature debut with the film, which is set to hit Netflix in 2023.In “One More Time,” Stiernstedt plays 40-year-old Amelia who is hit by a bus on her birthday.

Chung Ha has released the tracklist for her forthcoming album ‘Bare & Rare’, which is set to include a collaboration with BIBI.Today (July 4), the K-pop idol unveiled tracklist of part one of her upcoming sophomore studio album ‘Bare & Rare’ on Twitter. The record will feature eight tracks, including the title track ‘Sparkling’, as well as a collaboration with 88rising singer-songwriter BIBI on ‘Crazy Like You’.According to the tracklist, ‘Crazy Like You’ will feature lyrics co-written by both Chung Ha and BIBI.

The Through The Soil charity compilation series began in April 2021 and collected new songs from musicians around the world; acts like Spirit of the Beehive, Indigo De Souza, and Lily Konigsberg with proceeds benefitting the LGBTQ suicide prevention organization the Trevor Project. As the existential attacks against queer people in the United States grow in strength, the mission of Through The Soil continues to be a life-saving one.
