Actor Chris Pine has revealed he has taken part in one of the most famous and popular pub crawls in the north. The Star Trek star spoke about his time attending Leeds University - making him most likely the only Hollywood A-lister to attend the uni.
Fans on social media were shocked to learn of the actor’s link to Leeds with some calling it “bonkers.”

Speaking on Capital FM, Pine, 42, reminisced on his time as a student at Leeds University when he studied there as an exchange student for a year, and of course, taking part in the famous Otley Run.
When asked about the iconic Leeds student pub crawl, Pine said: “I don’t remember much of it but yes I have done it,” and admitted he can’t even remember what costume he dressed up in when he took part in it at 19 years old.
However, he remembers Leeds very fondly even though he hasn’t been back to the city since 2002.
"I'm yet to go back to Leeds, although I have these memories, like I lived at 49 Brudenell Road and I can see the market across the street and I know the walk to school and the great old cinema on the corner of Brudenell and Hyde Park.
"I mean I just have these images of school there,” he said.
Fans found it absolutely bizarre that the major celeb was once a student in Leeds, and took to Twitter to share their shock.
Hol said: “Chris Pine went to leeds uni and did the otley run what is real anymore.” Another Twitter user said: “Lolling at the fact that Chris Pine went to Uni of Leeds for a year.”
