Famed London celebhaunt Sexy Fish has finally confirmed its Manchester opening - and it's not long to wait for foodies. The glitzy restaurant, which is part of The Ivy empire, has long been planned at the former Armani store on Spinningfields.
Works have gathered pace in recent weeks, with large boards shrouding the ground floor space of the jutting glass building which fronts onto Deansgate. Bosses say we can expect "high end glamour" and "opulent culinary majesty" with its Manchester opening.
On Tuesday night it set social media abuzz with the launch of its official "Sexy Fish Manchester" account on Instagram. It showed a series of grids showing its trademark aquatic scenes.

It states on the instagram page: "Opening Autumn 2023". A website landing page for Sexy Fish Manchester has also gone live - with a large mermaid dominating the screen.
It says on the site: "With iconic locations in London’s Mayfair and Miami’s glittering Brickell district, we are delighted to introduce Sexy Fish’s third sister restaurant in 2023, situated in the heart of Spinningfields.
"With our high-end glamour, surrealist décor, and opulent culinary majesty inspired by the oceans of Asia, Sexy Fish will also offer an exclusive late-night experience, allowing guests to enjoy incredible entertainment, as well as food and drink options, until the early hours."
Sexy Fish is part of Caprice holdings, which also owns The Ivy. It opened its enormous three-storey restaurant in Spinningfields back in 2019 which has gone on to be a huge success for the London brand - reportedly Manchester is one of the busiest Ivy restaurants in its portfolio.
