Erik ten Hag has warned Manchester United that they will need to be at their best when they host Tottenham in the Premier League tonight. United head into the match on the back of an uninspiring goalless draw with Newcastle knowing that a much better performance is needed against Antonio Conte's side.
Scott McTominay will return from suspension for the match, while there is hope that Christian Eriksen will be fit enough to play following his recent illness. Anthony Martial is still missing, though.
Ten Hag will be expecting a big performance from his side, and ahead of the match, he warned his players about the key threats Tottenham carry in their tactical approach.

“They’re a really good team and, once again, they’re a really intense team, so we have to match that," he told official club media. "They are well-organised, so we have to be prepared. They can break very quickly. We have to be aware of that. They can defend really solid and compact, but we have to find the gaps.
"We have to make it our game, so we need the best from everyone: the 11 players on the pitch but also on the bench that can make a difference, finally.”
