Erik ten Hag is preparing for a double-header against Crystal Palace after stopping the rot at the weekend.

Garnacho omission explained
Alejandro Garnacho did not come on for Manchester United against Burnley as manager Erik ten Hag was content with their organisation. Garnacho was an unused substitute in United's 1-0 win at Turf Moor on Saturday evening despite supporters seemingly calling for his introduction by chanting his name midway through the second half.

The 19-year-old has made one start this season - in the opening win over Wolves - and Garnacho's younger brother, Roberto, deleted a tweet where he posted a laughing emoji, seemingly a reference to his sibling's unused status.
"He (Garnacho) was in against Munich and I thought our team was playing very well," Ten Hag said. "So I wouldn’t change that tonight because this game was a demand to keep that organisation. That's why I wouldn't change.
"I saw the players were still capable and the fitness levels were good and the energy was still there, it was only 1-0.
