Dan is facing a long spell in prison after he was charged with manslaughter after his punch killed Lloyd Sawyer. Last week Dan, alongside his daughter Amelia and his grandaughter Esther, planned to run away to Ireland.
However, when on the road, Dan had a change of heart and decided to face up to his actions.This week, viewers have watched as Dan has tried to make the most of his last few days of freedom. On Wednesday, 16 August, Dan decided to spend a special day with his two girls ahead of his last day in the village on Thursday. Just hours before his last scenes air, Liam shared some behind-the-scenes pictures.The 53 year old actor posed for selfies alongside Daisy Campbell, who plays Amelia and young Florence Mae Dyson, who features as baby Esther.
In the photos, both Liam and Daisy appear to be happy and relaxed as they both have huge smiles, making the most of the last scenes together. Alongside the wonderful selfies, Liam wrote: "A fabulous day shooting these emotional scenes on @emmerdale @ITVX @itv with my lovely telly daughter @arwen_campbell… "When will Dan see his girls again??? Find out tonight at 7:30 pm." The post got fans speculating about what is about to come for the mechanic. One fan replied and said: "I think it will be a suspended sentence" followed by a crossed fingers emoji.
Liam replied to that comment with a couple of thinking emojis, not giving anything away. While another said: "Aww poor Dan, a sweetheart gone but not for long, hopefully. Enjoy your break, Liam." Liam was also quick to respond to this fan, but this time he just put a red heart emoji.
