Emmerdale actress Isobel Steele has shared an emotional exit video as her character Liv Flaherty was killed off on Wednesday after being crushed by a caravan during the ITV soap's terrifying storm week. At the end of Tuesday's episode, Liv and husband Vinny Dingle were left lifeless after being crushed by the vehicle while making their way to The Woolpack to look after Paddy Kirk's daughter Eve.
During Wednesday's episode, Vinny was able to free himself from the wreckage but Liv was left trapped and unable to get out as she shared emotional goodbyes with her loved ones before dying. Posting a video after the heartbreaking scenes, Emmerdale tweeted: "Don't mind us, we're just crying a million tears Goodbye Liv, we're going to miss you so much #Emmerdale50 @Brad_J_J @Isobel_steele @ITV @WeAreSTV." In the clip, Liv actress Isobel says: "Hey everyone, I assume you've now watched the episode where Liv's died.
I hope it made you cry. I definitely cried when I read it and it's been a pleasure.
"It's been the best seven years of my life and yeah, it's been all worth it because of you. So thank you so much!" To which co-star, Bradley Johnson, who plays her on-screen husband Vinny, pranks her as he appears in the background shouting: "Izzy?" With the actress replying: "Yeah? I'm just doing a..." to which Bradley replies: "No, I know, security are asking for your pass back." Confused, Isobel says: "What, my ITV pass?" to which Bradley continues: "You're prolonging your exit a little bit here but if you just want to, you know, just get your pass and hand it in, just kind of go."
