Emmerdale releases new eerie trailer with gunshot, muddy grave and prison scene

Emmerdale has released an eerie new trailer teasing the ITV soap's special flash forward week of episodes, beginning on Monday 9 May. Taking to Twitter over the weekend, the soap released a chilling look at what fans can expect as they shared a teaser clip and captioned it with: "Next week: The future is not kind to some of our villagers..." In the trailer, it starts with drone footage of the village before it then takes a grey hue as sinister music starts playing with the camera panning onto the graveyard.The clip then sees a wooded area as a mystery person holds a shotgun before bullets are heard firing out with the scene then cutting to someone struggling to get out of what appears to be a muddy grave.

The trailer ends with a horrific car crash scene, which fans fear could be Cain Dingle and that he could die. It comes after Emmerdale released an explosive first look at the ITV soap's special flash forward episodes last month.
In the spoiler pictures it sees Cain, whose feud with Al reaches new levels, look menacingly in his car mirror. While Noah Dingle, whose obsession with ex Chloe Harris will "reach a crescendo", is seen stalking her on his laptop on various different cameras.
