Emmerdale fans were quick to praise Noah Dingle on Friday night’s edition of the ITV soap, as he immediately leant his support to Amelia Spencer after she broke down in tears fearing she had cancer. The young mum found a lump in her breast earlier this week and immediately feared the worst, but after speaking with local doctor Manpreet Sharma, she was assured it was most likely just a blocked milk duct.
In order to be certain however, the youngster was soon referred to the local hospital breast clinic for more tests, and after a cancellation had arisen, was fitted in for an ultrasound scan on Friday. While attending the appointment, once again Amelia was assured that it could be a blocked milk duct, but the radiographer revealed that as the lump was a little bigger than expected, she advised a biopsy to be taken.
Although the procedure was over and done with in 15 minutes, Amelia was left devastated when she was told she would have to wait a week for the results, prompting her to rush home to collect her daughter from Charity Dingle, who had agreed to babysit. As Charity had been forced to leave to attend a hair appointment ahead of her wedding, Amelia was shocked to see that her ex Noah was babysitting the little one, but after seeing just how stressed his former flame was, the concerned Dingle enquired what was wrong.
It was then that Amelia blurted out her secret and explained where she had been and why, before breaking down in tears in Noah’s arms. Immediately after the scenes aired, fans raced to social media to praise the way Noah had handled the situation, as they applauded the youngster for “stepping up” in a time of crisis.
“Absolutely fantastic acting by @arwen_campbell such emotion well felt. Had me in tears.
