Emmerdale fans were quick to point out Wendy Posner's court blunder as she was called as a witness for murderer Meena Jutla on Wednesday's episode. Only recently, Manpreet Sharma decided to testify against Meena, who has pleaded not guilty for the murders of Ben Tucker, Leanna Cavanagh and Andrea Tate.
In the lead up to her court appearance, Liam Cavanagh confronted Wendy over her decision as he pointed out about Meena: "Who you must know is evil, like Russ was evil, who threatened to expose you when I covered for you!" With Wendy replying: "Look, I'm sorry Liam, I know how much you need this but I'm not going to lie about Meena in court, I'm not!" Soap watchers were quick to point out Wendy's hypocrisy after she lied about being a qualified nurse, which was exposed last year.
Fans will recall that Wendy was forced to admit that she isn't a qualified nurse while being held hostage by ex Russ in September.Taking to Twitter, one person pointed out: "Wendy wont lie in court but will lie about being a qualified nurse #Emmerdale..." While a different account added: "Wendy is not really a nurse, will that come out I wonder! #emmerdale." It comes as Emmerdale fans think they have worked out a "surprise link" between prison guard Ian and Meena's murder victim Ben. Only recently, Meena has been flirting with her prison guard Ian with viewers also predicting that he could be the evil nurse's next victim or he is planning to help her escape.
