Emmerdale fans have been left pleading 'don't' as they witnessed Tom King's latest ploy in his abuse of wife Belle. Fans of the ITV soap haven't really trusted the character ever since he returned to the village and rekindled his romance with Belle last year after years apart.
There were then concerning scenes shown in October when Tom popped the question to Belle and didn't take her turning him down very well, assuming it meant she didn't love him. They eventually got engaged in December when Belle roped in his heroes Torvill and Dean for the surprise and the pair married earlier this year.
But ever since their wedding night ended with Belle in tears and sleeping on the sofa, viewers have watched Tom's coercively controlling behaviour continue to unfold.

During Monday night's (April 8) Emmerdale, viewers saw Tom grow more and more jealous of Belle and her friendship with Vinny Dingle. Vinny had been around their house hanging with Belle when Tom returned home and quickly sent Vinny on his way as he wanted to be alone with his wife.
However, that didn't stop the best friends meeting up again with his dog Chip and Belle and Tom's new dog Piper, before Vinny offered to look after the new arrival while she headed to work with Leyla Cavanagh at Take A Vow. What they didn't know is that the intersection was watched by Tom, leaving him fuming.
