Emmerdale fans have been left asking 'how' while also being divided over a new background addition to the show's latest dramatic scenes. It's been quite the week already in the Dales with many of the villagers unaware that Chloe Harris has plunged potentially to her death.
After an hour-long special of the ITV soap on Tuesday night (October 10) in which a dramatic car crash saw Chloe alongside Mackenzie Boyd and Charity Dingle facing immortal peril as their car dangled off the edge of cliff. With Mackenzie the first to wake, he was seen struggling to save Charity and Chloe as they woke to the horror of what they were facing.
Mack tried to hold onto the car to allow the pair to escape before he had to choose who to save as the car plummeted to the ground. It wasn't until the start of Wednesday night's episode that Emmerdale fans saw that it was Charity who Mackenzie managed to pull out of the car with Chloe tumbling to the bottom of the cliff in the vehicle.

They then heard the toy belonging to Chloe and Mack's son, Rueben, making a noise before Mack rushing over and noticed she was still alive.
But while she initially appeared to survive, with horrific injuries, Mack was horrified to see a piece of the car impaled into her stomach adding further jeopardy as to whether she will make it as she was put into an emergency helicopter.
