Recently, rapper Lil Wayne did an interview with fellow MC Fat Joe to talk about the horrific event that took place in Minneapolis, Minnesota. A black man named George Floyd die was pinned down by Derek Chauvin, a now-former Minneapolis police officer, who kneeled on his neck for over 8 minutes.

The rapper is in a bit of hot water because of what he had to say in response to the death of George Floyd. As you know, many celebrities have been expressing their frustration over the tragic police-caused death and demanding for justice to be found but Lil Wayne suggested to ‘place the blame on ourselves’ and that did not sit well with social media! That being said, many are now asking that he gets ‘canceled!’ At the time, the famous rapper was on IG Live with Fat Joe.

Fans are outraged after Lil Wayne addressed George Floyd in an Instagram Live with Fat Joe, suggesting that activists are also to blame for his tragic death — not just the police.
